How do I find a leak coming from my car?

Look at the fluid on the ground that has leaked from your car. Take note to what color it is. This can help narrow down the area or system you need to concentrate on. For example, if it was brownish/gold it would most likely be oil, if it was blue, it would be washer fluid... green would be coolant, etc. Clean off the soaked area and run the engine till it begins to leak. Now one important thing to remember ...Fluid does not drip or drain uphill, so if you see a leak, follow it upward to the source and then make the needed repairs.
